Jan 10: Detail

It has always amazed me how much detail there is in the world around us. Something as seemingly bland as a brick has endless peaks and valleys, an undulating surface of incredible texture.

I find it nice, every once in a while, to truly appreciate the finer things in life in a manner more practical than metaphoric. This is one such example. It often makes me wonder if the detail ever stops...

Contrast upped, brightness dropped a little. Essentially, the usual minor tweaks.
